GOOD FOOD FEST

  • Good Food Fest (GFF) is the ultimate celebration of local food & agriculture in the greater Philadelphia area - an epic farmers market and event that brings farmers, food makers, and the local community together in one place. GFF is hosted by Growing Roots Partners and made possible by premier sponsor Kimberton Whole Foods.

    Exhibitor applications are open to local farmers, food makers, drink makers, and a small portion of non-food/drink artisans that craft unique, handmade products related to kitchen, garden or similar. GFF will feature an EPIC FARMERS MARKET featuring farmers and makers from the greater Philadelphia region. Shopping is encouraged. GFF will take place in the large barn at the Kimberton Fairgrounds, as well as two large pavilions, and two tented spaces. For non-agriculture applicants, the use of locally sourced agricultural goods in your product is paramount.

    Location: Kimberton Fairgrounds; 762 Pike Springs Rd, Phoenixville, PA 19460

    Kimberton Fairgrounds are located on Route 113, just west of Phoenixville, adjacent to the Kimberton Fire Company.

APPLICATION

  • Good Food Fest is a producer-only event. We invite local farmers, food makers, drink makers, and artisans who grow, raise, produce, or make their own products.

    Product qualifications:
    • Producer only - products must be grown, raised or made by the exhibitor
    • Local - farms and producers must be located within 150 miles of the event
    • Small scale - the philosophy is to offer retail opportunities to small scale food businesses
    • Sourced locally - whenever possible, all ingredients should be sourced locally; applicants that source local, agricultural products will be prioritized for participation

    Participant qualifications:
    Pleasant disposition
    • Team player attitude
    • Able to read & follow directions thoroughly
    • Physically present at event

    Good Food Fest does not accept the following applicants:
    • Commercially made products
    • Resale producers
    • MLM or promotional vendors
    • NOTE: Any business interested in promotional opportunities should review our sponsorship package.

    Types of Exhibitors
    (1)
    “Epic farmers market” exhibitors:
    • Farmer/Agricultural Producer – all products for sale are grown, farmed, raised, or produced
    on-farm or apiary
    • Food Maker – pantry, grocery, value added
    • Bakery – dessert, bread, etc
    • Drink Maker – alcoholic
    • Drink Maker – non-alcoholic
    • Crafter/Artisan – kitchen/garden products will be prioritized
    (2)Pouring Room:
    • Alcoholic beverages with pouring rights, serving for consumption onsite
    • A limited number of producers will be accepted with semi-exclusive pouring rights
    • PLEASE NOTE: as of 2024, the Pouring Room is open to ALL alcohol producers to apply.
    • Applications will be reviewed and selected in a juried process by the GFF Planning Committee.
    • Drink makers that source ingredients from local farms will be prioritized.
    (3)Food truck/concession:
    • Serving ready to eat food, prepared onsite
    (4)Sponsors:
    • Any organization or business that wants to get involved but does not fit the above categories should consider sponsorship of GFF. More details: www.goodfarmsgoodfood.com/become-a-sponsor

    Applications Close: Friday, June 14th at 11:59pm
    Decisions* Sent: Friday, June 28th at 11:59pm
    *all decisions: acceptance, waitlist, and rejection

    E-sign contract: Friday, July 5th by 11:59pm
    Payment due: Friday, July 5th by 11:59pm

    Please allow until June 28th at 11:59pm for application decisions to be sent. Decisions will be sent from hello@goodfarmsgoodfood.com. If you haven’t received a decision (via email) by June 28th at 11:59pm - please check your spam folder.

    Once accepted, vendors must e-sign the vendor contract and remit payment by July 5th at 11:59pm to confirm their space. Any non-responsive applicants will forfeit their acceptance after the payment deadline.

  • Fee per 8ft table space (farmers market exhibitors):
    Agricultural Producer – $75
    •Food Maker, Bakery, Drink Maker (non-alcoholic) – $125
    •Drink Maker (alcoholic) – $150
    •Crafter/Artisan – $175

    Fee per exhibitor:
    •Food Truck/Concession – $200
    •Pouring Room (10x10 space) – $200
    •Pouring Room (trailer/truck) - $250
